GOODBYE SASUGASUGOI

Hello, folks. This is sasugasugoi speaking for the last time. After long hours of thinking, I came to a conclusion that I should shut down this blog, if my university schedule would allow me, temporarily. If my schedule serves me right, I might be able to come back by April again. I will not take down the blog so you can continue to see the tutorials as much as you need to but I will no longer be able to answer your queries, unlike before. I have already started to be inactive anyway, might as well be stably inactive for the mean time.

To my partner Black Angel, thank you for all the help you've given me and the readers so far. I take my hat off for you and bow down. You deserve a cookie *hands cookie*

*Accepts cookie and hands you an entire cake in return, for you deserve it* Thank you sasugasugoi for this wonderful experience, I can honestly say I enjoyed working on this blog with you. It's sad that the blog is shut down, but I look forward to your next projects! Keep me updated! And I'll be more than glad to continue to help if you decide to reopen this blog.

To everyone, thank you for staying this long. Even when I started to be inactive, I could still see that people still drops by everyday. This blog usually gets a 150-300 pageviews daily. Thank you for that, even when I just fail your expectations by not giving you new worthy updates.

Until we meet again, everyone! Bye!

P.S: If I come back, I will start including BL games in the tutorials. Get ready just in case, fujoshis, though I'm sure you don't need my help anyway. Just to impart something personal, here is a skecth drawn by one of my friends, colored by another and hindered by me. XD This is our chibi version. I'm the black cat anyway.

Nowhere Safe: Unintended Silence

Nowhere Safe: Unintended Silence is developed by redpandastudios or VisualNovelGames. com. This is not an otome game but meh, whatever. Once again, I'll let their site do the talking: complete info here.  Maybe it was just my glitchy internet connection but I can't seem to connect to their site. Looks like it's back now ヾ(´・ ・`。)ノ”

SYNOPSIS:
Kimiko Yui has been unable to leave her house for over ten years. When her daughter comes down with a mysterious mental illness that requires a chaperone at school, Kimiko finds herself more desperate than ever to conquer her agoraphobia once and for all.

- 5 different endings- One bonus ending- Lots of choices- Robust soundtrack

TITLE: Nowhere Safe: Unintended Silence
DEVELOPERS: Red Panda Studios / VisualNovelGames.com
GAME LENGTH: Short (2 - 10 hours)
http://vndb.org/v12577

REVIEW:

Target Audience: Once again, they present us a 16+ game. Be careful in playing this. This really isn't meant for innocent ones. I mean, if I was a newbie to a visual novel game and I chanced upon this immediately, I would probably be scarred. It's not an innocent vn for an innocent reader.

Story: Too dark. It's a short visual novel full of heavy drama and psychology. I have nothing against dark plots. On the contrary, I love them. However, this visual novel needs a comic relief to balance the heavy plot. If it's too heavy, there would be no emotional climate for the readers to enjoy since the tone is pretty deep already and just gets deeper without something in the script to pull it up. On the other hand, I commend the use of psychology in the plot. It's a new taste in the visual novel stories we get. It's very emotional and realistic. I really love it since it had me on the edge of my seat during the whole playing!

Characters: I don't like the characters. Except for Naoki. I mean, let's face it. All of them are pretty messed up in their own ways. Kimiko (main protagonist) is too damaged, paranoid/lashing and weak-willed to be a decent protagonist. I mean, sure, she had a pretty bad experience but it's been ten years. Buck up, woman! Kento is a bit blank at times. Like, there's really no significance in him being there. Yes, it's nice meeting you there but we can live without you.  ( ´_ゝ`) Aya the friend is pathetic. If you and another female's chest bump while talking, you wouldn't find it immediately strange or take notice of anything that resembles sexual harassment. Get your mind out of the gutter, girl. Kazumi is just evil. There's no hope for her. Dr. Hamasaki is just too asdfghjkl to describe. Dr. Bento (or whatever) is just plain stupid. Who the hell spanks a child with problems in a therapeutic session? You still have the guts to ask for the bill? Argh. I could sue you for child abuse! Naoki is the only normal here. (●´∀`●)

CG/Art: Of course, it's cute. Lightly colored for a dark plot. I laughed a lot when Kento is down to his boxers. What? He looks cute for a prickly guy. I lol'ed when Naoki decided to visit Kimiko in boxers and singlet too. Kimiko was like, "Wow, I can't help but think that's a really intense outfit...". Are you freaking serious, woman? Naoki just showed up in his underwear and that's your reaction? Seriously, woman, you're like a hermit. Unfortunately, we don't have CG which would surely make things more interesting.

Music: A nice soundtrack to accompany the story. It's high quality with no noise to grate your ears! Unfortunately, we always get to hear the dark and suspicious music. The light-hearted ones are just used to the neutral scenes, just something to keep the scene from being in mute mode.

Setting: Because our heroine is agoraphobic, we just went around the house. Which is the probably the point of the novel.

Difficulty Level/Gameplay: The options are really hard to choose from because they absolutely feel the same. It's not a type of difficult that is really puzzling but for me, it's because there's just not enough clues for me to get by. The plot is one of a kind and unpredictable since it tackles a human mind. Hell knows how random their minds get. The options are a wild jump in the lake. To get through this, you need to think of a particular approach. This is not an otome game wherein you have to understand the obtainable guy's attitude or personality. In here, you have to think about your action and the consequences it will cause the people around you since this is quite the psychology game. If you blindly choose, you're really lost.

           Screenshots:
Welcome onna. Let's meet in Canberra. Just make it in four days.
I'm about to leave here (*´・v・)

Should I give you some hardcore BL (Boys' Love) visual novel made by Nitro+chiral like Togainu no Chi? I'm sure you'll change your mind. (=`〜´=)

Woah, Kazumi. What happened to you? You were a loli not so long ago!
Hella growth ( ꒪Д꒪)ノ

Really, Kimiko, really? He turned up in his underwear! ( ̄□ ̄;)

Oh so that's how Kimiko looks like. ヽ(・_・;)ノ

All in all, it's a nice game worth trying. If you're looking for a silly otome game, wrong place. This is too mature for that. If you're in for a psycho-deep story, ride on board!

Maaan, trouble trouble~

Relevance to this picture? None. I just think it's nice. ( >w< )
Black Angel is very busy in real life right now. We can't proceed with the goodie we want to give all of you.
Without her cooperation, I'm pretty much dead right now.

On the other hand, I bring you good news!

I will update the Starry Sky ~in Spring~ Installation tutorial for Windows 7.

Win XP is obsolete nowadays anyway. Have to cope up. I might be also be doing a tutorial for Windows 8 when I managed to get an installer. Cheerio Windows users.

Sorry, Mac users.  I still have no intention of doing tutorials for Mac since I am seriously allergic to Apple and their products. They always make finding softwares completely complicated and costly. Sorry, I decided to lay my hands off them a long time ago. At the current flow of things, I don't see any reason to change my status quo.

That's it for now~

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SASUGASUGOI BLOG!

Aw, thank you guys. I love you all! <--- Forever Alone

It's been  a year~
Last May 7, 2012, I created sasugasugoi.blogspot.com, a blog dedicated to helping otome gamers everywhere. We survived a year of struggling of uploading, making tutorials and answering/debugging everyone's concern. We had 54 899 page views since creation with an average of 150-300 pageviews per day from audiences from United States, Indonesia, Philippines, Russia, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Germany and France. Thank you for a year of interaction with us. Forgive our incompetence and we hope to do better this year.

Our year's agenda is to upload all the otome games we possess to spread the otome game madness.

Now, I mentioned in the previous update post that we have a goodie prepared for all of you. Too bad, we weren't able to make it on time. There's just two of us working on it after all. We'll just inform you in a few more days. We're actually busy in our real lives but we're trying to make it and we don't want it to be crappy. Sorry for raising your hopes like that.

Wish us luck! Please take care of us this year too~

Just some eye candies to make up for my incompetence. Stupid me.
This is "Free!", a new anime coming by July. Yum.

Since this is the currently airing otome game-turned-anime.
Brothers' Conflict will come soon.
Don't  worry dears.

Otome game heroine second character design

Man, sorry for the inactive blog. We're currently busy having a life and making the otome game. Just to let you know, the script is not yet done. Frankly speaking, a lot of things are not yet being started yet. My irl partner went AWOL *huff*. Without contact, you can pretty much guess what happens. Note to all of us: Hang in there!

WE ARE APPROACHING THIS BLOG'S ANNIVERSARY! I can't believe that I really started all of this a year ago. We have a surprise goodie for all of you on this day! I hope Black Angel revives so we can prepare it. Just three more daysss :)

Here's a second heroine character design! (So you know that I'm not just having a life)
Another WIP (work-in-progress) but only minor finishings are left anyway.

Frankly speaking, I like this design better. You can compare the effort I spent compared to the other one. I mean, just look!
This is ridiculous right?

As for the male character designs, well, just wait. ;)
Remember: THREE MORE DAYS UNTIL THE ANNIVERSARY~ ♥

Update?

Well, let's see.
Let me talk about where I was the past days first.
I was in a camp so yes, no internet/computer. Sorry about that.

I'll be posting a review about X-Note.

Let me update you about the translation status of the japanese otome games:
The following are being done by Twin Project
>Prince Panic
>Kimi Iro Puromunaado
>Bloody Call
>Monochrome Heaven
>Ikusei Nikki
>Majo mo Arukeba Akuma ni Ataru
>Magic Romanesque
>Okotoba Desu ga
>My dear 2 -love once again-

>Black Wolves Saga
Hitofuta Kitan
>Starry ☆ Sky ~in Summer~
>Starry ☆ Sky ~in Autumn~ - 10%
>Starry ☆ Sky ~in Winter~ - 5%

>Diabolik Lovers - this has a fickle situation and it seems that the translators don't want their work to be made into patch.
                           - last time I checked, it was already at 18%
>Lucky Dog 1 - same situation as Diabolik Lovers
>OZMAFIA - Legal translation. This isn't really confirmed but there's a possibility. Don't get your hopes up. It's just a possibility. It depends on how the game hits. We'll just cross our hands and buy a copy.
The team that is doing Starry Sky ~in Summer~ are looking for more J>E translators as well as programmers and hackers to make the patch. I'm not sure which of which are to be made into patches or just available as translations in wiki. Please offer your help to the teams doing the work if you can.

To make up for my absence, here's some new updates about the otome game that we plan to make. This is a WIP (work-in-progress. I'm not yet done, okay?) character design. In other words, it's not the official character design yet. I have to confirm with my partner first.

So sorry for amateurish art yet again. I totally suck at digital coloring.
If somebody wants to offer their services, you are very much welcome.

click for enlarged pic.

Yes, we have a typical delinquent-kun. But don't write him off yet, there's more to him than his looks. Or attitude. Sorry, no name yet and as for his story... let us polish it off first before I provide more sneak peeks.

Are you excited about this project? Tell me your thoughts people! I'd love to hear from you!

See ya! Await the next spoils. Huehuehue. >:)

I'm sorrryyyyy!!!

I'm really sorry if I'm still inactive today. Life is hard if it's forced on you. I am currently not a hikikomori  right now. I am currently staying in Australia for seven more weeks. Yes, yes, it's not my home country. I do apologize for having a life right now. Life means little or no internet involvement at all here where I'm staying'.

To apologize for that, I bring you information about the new hakuouki game: Urakata Hakuouki
[Urakata is somewhat like "Reverse" or "on the other side" (?). Sorry, crappy Japanese skills here. I just know that it entails that this story is all about the other side of the army: Choushu and Satsuma.]
They already released the opening movie for the said PSP game. If you want to watch it, go here:
http://www.otomate.jp/hakuoki/urakata/special/
This will be released on May 30, 2013.

Here are some CG samples, brought to you by our beloved Otomate.
"They" made it seem that the girl is really skilled in sword art. Let's just hope that she uses those swords for real and not for some damn decoration. (Hello Yukimura Chizuru) Let's also hope that she's not a "Mary Sue".

Probably the Mr. Nice Guy who turns out that he isn't all that.

Jinguji Ren type. That sweet-tongued guy. No pun intended in regards to the picture.

Why am I already hating this bastard guy when I haven't played his route yet? I'm getting the feeling that he is this really arrogant guy who think he can get all of that but softens up when he falls in love. Hello otome standards.

Most likely a Saitou equivalent. Ninja. Yum.

Yeah. That's it. Not exactly new new but I compiled the information.

The Host Holic Review GET!

FINALLY! NEW UPDATE! Sorry for the long inactive period. Both I and Black Angel had a life, thus, slightly-inactive blog. I finally graduated from highschool and since there's still time before my departure for Australia, I'm taking the chance to update.

Oh yeah, the main point of this update is to tell you about my The Host Holic review! Check that genuine English otome game. It's worth the play. If you're not sure, consult the above-mentioned review.
(Check my Love Revo!! Review too please! ~BlackAngel)

Well, if you're wondering about my own otome project, we're struggling with the initial character designs. It's really hard to do this stuff if your irl best friend, to whom cellphone and internet are rare beings, simply vanished from you. No contact whatsoever. (-_- )Remind me to throw her cellphone and laptop and to hack her Skype account (does she even have one? I don't think so.) and Facebook. Oh, and let me rip her internet cables while I'm at it since she currently shows no proof that she's utilizing it whatsoever.

Well, that's it! Ja ne!

Host Holic

Host Holic is developed by VisualNovelGames.com. Since English otome games are really rare, we have something to be thankful for. Well, I'm not really gonna talk and steal their spotlight, so I'll let their official site do that talking: complete info here.

I was supposed to do this review last October 2012. It's late March-early April now. Oh God, I hope Lex-shi forgives me. (>o<;) I'm really sorry for my poor time-managing skills. School forced me to have a life. *sigh* First update in a while!

                 Well moving on.

SYNOPSIS:
You travel to Japan for one year to teach English, and quickly become culture shocked by the dating scene in downtown Tokyo. After a few failed attempts at blind and Internet dating, you decide to try your luck at the most popular host club in town.
Manage your daily life as a foreign teacher in Tokyo by controlling your wild students and maximizing your return rate to ensure your performance bonus. Can you balance your job and navigate this new dating world?
Discover the secrets to becoming a successful teacher by day, and surround yourself by a group of professional playboys at night in this original and exciting dating-sim and time management game.

TITLE: Host Holic
DEVELOPERS: VisualNovelGames.com
GAME LENGTH: Medium (10 - 30 hours)
http://vndb.org/v11156

REVIEW:

Target Audience: Well, one thing for sure, this is not for those young ones. I wouldn't go as far as to say that this game is a rated 18+ game but it does contain a mild sexual context that surprised me. The site's own rating of 16+ really suits it. (Thank goodness I'm 16+) Just don't play this if you are not prepared for a shocking plot.

Story: How do I say this... Let's say, the story is very unexpected. In what way? In a lot of ways. Sorry for the stupid vague answer but that about sums it all up.  The story is not really that special, frankly speaking. It borders normalcy however, the plot twists are really something. I was thinking of giving it a good thrashing (if I happen to buy this) if it weren't for those awesome twists. Man, thumbs us to the scriptwriter. He/She managed to get me to "SHOCKU" mode. ∑(O_O;)

Characters: I commend the attitude of the protagonist. She's very brave for a foreigner in a foreign land. +1 point for a one less doormat heroine in games. Thank goodness. Plus, she's the kind of teacher most students would be lucky to have. Where the heck will you get a martial art-capable beautiful and smart teacher nowadays. *sigh* I hope my school (right. I just recently graduated.) Alma Mater had a lot of teachers like that. ANYWAY. For the hosts, I found it a hard time to get Rui's way of thinking. I still can't, to be honest. That's one more target in my Agenda list.

CG/Art: The art is very well-done, considering that this came from an indie company. Which means, little or no initial funds/time/help/staff for that. I like the light colored art style. It's ironic that the the art style is very light yet the story is so dark though. Haha. Another surprise element. The character designs are unique for the main characters. I can't say the same for the kiddos. Change the hairstyle, eye color or color of the top/shirt and that's basically it. They all have the freaking face it's freaking scary.  I can accept the clothing if they just wore a uniform instead of just changing the color. I think there would be less hassle that way too, anyway.

Music: Same goes for this one. It's a trap. The music is very light-hearted, amusing even (for the classroom music bg), that it covers the dark plot twists. Blame yourself if you fall for it like how I did. Console yourself a bit since it sheds a bit of its trap-ness when it comes to the dark part since well, the music is dark creepy too.  It matches.

Setting: Maa-maa (So-so), I guess. There's just basically four most important places to you anyway: school, home, night market and of course, holic.

Difficulty Level/Gameplay: It's a bit higher than average, I guess. Host Holic features a common visual novel element with mini-games that can go from the following rating: a.) cute, b.) so-so, c.) useless to d.) annoying. I can't help the "d.) annoying" part since I'm not a big fan of stat-building. I prefer in-depth story so yey to typical visual novel choices. I hate stat-building. It takes more time for me to achieve the story that I'm drooling for. I also hope that there's more interaction with the students or at least, paid more attention since they're practically the supposedly selling point of this game. Instead of the uncalled-for dress-up thing, we could have more student interaction. I prefer more time spent in wrecking my mind on how to handle the kiddos than playing shopping with the host. One more thing that can get more work done is the user interface. I can't save anytime I wish. No quick save/load either. It definitely sucked when I had to leave it for a short while and found the laptop dead on me and I haven't reached the savepoint yet.

Too bad, I won't support piracy here. Believe it or not, I still avoid it as best as I can, okay? Unlike with Japanese otome games, it will contribute little even through buying since you, English-speakers, are not the target audience.  Though it may cause them to think to license the game, the market for them would still be generally for the lucky Japanese-speaking folks. Here, this is a different matter. Since there is a means to get a legal English game through legal buying, of course, I would point that. Seek my help only for hopeless Japanese games.

Heroine Character Design

I'm really sorry for my skill. huhu TT^TT
Everything was done by my hand so forgive the unstable lines.
I promise I will practice more.
Just an update.
I finished coloring after 3-5 hours. Snack breaks included.  (>w<)b

Sorry for my incompetent skill. I promise to practice more so that the CGs won't be as unsatisfactory as this one.

Criticisms? Of course, I'm very much open for that. Still, it's hard to accept a criticism phrased in a rude way. Please, help me. I believe in manners.

Can you guys recommend a good name for her? ^o^

How about a new otome game? :3

Sorry for amateurish art. What can I do? I don't have a pen tablet.
Well, as you can see, I'm not even done with the coloring. I already spent an hour on this and I'm not even close to finishing. I and my irl best friend are planning to make a new otome game.

             Hopefully, that caught your attention.

The girl you can see above is one of the proposed character designs for the heroine. In other words, you. I also have the character sketch for one of the boys. We initially planned to have three boys with different endings: bad ends, normal ends and, of course, good end for each. I prefer to think of myself as a meticulous writer and I hate shitty character or developments. Sorry for the word but you get my drift. I really detest doormat heroines or Mary Sue characters . That is to say, I will try my best to write a story about a girl that deviates from the cliche shoujo heroines we were bombarded by mangaka/writers who does not believe in realism.

I mentioned " initially planned to have three boys". You got that right. We can also add more capturable hot guys depending on our time. Hopefully, we would first be able to achieve our number one target in our agenda: three capturable hot bishounen.  This may vary since we are doing this game with a two-man (err, woman) team. And we're not aiming for too short otome games that we already experienced. (We know that the players would kill us for not having a worthy game length). Just imagine the hard work involved: character sprites, backgrounds, game layouts, CGs, scripts and programming. We will try our best with regards to the art style but don't expect too much. We are amateur artists. (Refer to art above). Of course, we'll be using Ren'Py since we would just be wasting our efforts to program a game through Java when there's a very capable game engine available for free already.

Since you read this far, I will give you a bonus. Here is the story's synopsis. At least, for now anyway.

Meet our heroine [insert name. We haven't decided yet.], a strong-willed, slightly cynical but nonetheless, a kind-hearted and gentle girl of modern times. There was a rumor in this girl's family about a mysterious power. As the modern person she is and as fate would have it, she did not believe this. Until one supposedly uneventful night she fell asleep. She found out that she can exchange her consciousness with her selves from different lifetimes. Is this a mean to change her lives' tragic fates or to find the one meant for her?  Is she willing to take a risk to fight for what she desires: may it be her right to life or  right to be with the man she loves? If so, who and what will she fight for: past, present or future?

How's that? Comments, suggestions, reactions, anyone? We love to hear from you. Help us achieve a worthy English otome game for every otome gamer.

REVIVAL DATE

Sorry for the long inactive mode. It can't be helped since I have a life nowadays. Strangely, Black Angel is MIA so maybe she's having a life right now too.

Indeed. I've been too busy living my Otaku life *trollface. Just kidding. I'm back from my spring break so hopefully you'll see more of me soon. Black Angel~

Well, it's my Baccalaureate Mass tomorrow and Graduation Day the next. Expect me in a few more days! I will mark my revival with a few updates. Tee hee.

On the other side, hopefully, my trip to Australia would be granted. Supposedly, I am to stay there for two long months (I'm staying at my aunt's). Huzzah to the Aussies!

That's all. *winks*

I'm sorry, my post ruined the nice format.  Sotsugyo Omedeto!

Same same... Bishie sideline

Well, I was just browsing through the site Kyoto Animation for more information. Found one that bugged me.

For those who are wondering, it says:
                                                                    「Swimming Edition
                                                                   New Challenge!
                                                                   March 31, 2013 ON AIR
                                                                   30 seconds.

I wonder what's on March 31???? Are they releasing more information about the said CM? I hope so. Nah, just some random ramblings. I'm pretty busy since it's exam period and graduation's near so...

Heya! It's been a long time since my last post. I added another tutorial: Hakuouki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom (PSP) on Emulator.
You can find it here: http://sasugasugoi.blogspot.com/2013/02/hakuouki-demon-of-fleeting-blossom-psp.html

I will upload the game when I have the time. My Prom is tomorrow~ ♥

At the same time, I will review the following in random order:

Hakuouki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom (PSP) on Emulator

This tutorial would be about playing a PSP platform copy of Hakuou Shinsengumi Kitan (which has been officially licensed by Aksys Games) on PC. I bought the game and played it on my PSP but nothing beats playing otome games in PC for me. Of course, one of my main reasons why I did this was to see a bigger Saito Hajime and Hijikata Toshizou on screen. I don't want to restrain myself on the small screen of PSP. . (Btw, I don't really like Okita Souji 'cuz he's such a yandere. That's just psychotic.)

We're all upset that Kazuki Yone (artist/goddess behind the Shinsengumi bishies) is not with Idea Factory (IF) anymore. For those who don't know the story, a long time ago, it seems like (we got nothing but rumors and it's the most reliable one I got. Anyone got a more realistic background, please share it with me, ne?)Yone asked for a pay raise since she's not an amateur artist. Heck, she raised two games (Hakuouki and Hiiro no Kakera) into anime world. Idea Factory is like, "No, gtfo.". As a result, we got bombarded with fake copies of her artwork. As if we, her loyal fans, would not notice. IF thinks that they can trick fans with making that "anonymous" artist do that copy-cat work. It's been so long since that and even now, they can't stop milking this series. IF can't be more shameful than that.

*One scenario in the world wide net worth ranting about*
Kazuki Yone: I drew something new and posted it in my blog! Please support Hakuouki!
Idea Factory: STFU. You're no longer part of this company. We're suing you for drawing characters under copyright issues and for posting it without our permission.

Total bs. As if she needs permission to draw what she designed and to post it on her blog. It's not like she's selling anything so why the paranoia, IF?
Well, it happened a long time ago and she's working on a new game now so rant's over. Here's the tutorial. Click the image for a bigger view. Just a tip: right click on the image + view link in another tab = undisturbed tutorial-viewing.

LET'S START WITH DOWNLOADING THE NEEDED FILES:
●  Get your copy of PSP Emulator. JPCSP is the most famous and sanest emulator out there. (Not that I can speak since I don't really know psp emulators) Here's the web link and just click the version that's appropriate for your computer. Usually, you get the latest one. Here:

http://buildbot.orphis.net/jpcsp/

●  If you want a fully voiced game, here's the voice plugin:

mono_ATRAC3PLUS_Autoplay_assistant_tool v1.9.28

●  You need Sound Forge and Sonic Stage. Well, that's not for free. Actually, nothing in this world is really free. There are cracks and everything and it's easy to Google so you can do that yourself.

●  Naturally, the most important file: the game itself. Due to complaints about piracy, I removed the link.  Whatever.

PROCEEDING TO THE INSTALLATION AND THAT TROUBLESOME STUFF...

Sound Forge:
My copy is this one: Sony Sound Forge Pro v10.0c491_Keygen DI - by saoman

●  Install Sound Forge first. You don't have to do any "installing" stuff with JPCSP but it's more troublesome with the configuration.

Win 7 ver tutorial. Somebody requested for an updated OS.
What? I really hate the recent OS. They make my life complicated.

And the biggest lie ever...

●  Don't run it yet. Run Keygen > select Sound Forge 10 series > Patch. Be sure to copy the serial and activation code.
I hate that annoying bgm. You wait and hear. -__-

●  Run Sound Forge 10 bugfix.reg

This should appear. That's it.

●  Run Sound Forge > enter the serial > choose register from another computer > save the license anywhere and you can also delete it after > enter the activation code.

Sonic Stage:
●  Just install this since you need it for your game to have sounds in jpcsp. There should be no problems here.

Well, I did mention that I don't really like Okita Souji but he's my wallpaper.
What can I do? He's hot. (>w<)b~

JPCSP (PSP Emulator):

●  After extracting the file, you should get a folder with a name like jpcsp-windows... Inside that folder is another folder named umdimages. Copy the ISO file of Hakuouki.

Yes, 1.11 GB. Prepare for that.

●  Go back to the original folder. You should see a Windows Batch File like start-windows-x86. At least that's what mine says. Double-click that and a new window should appear.

And another window which should serve as your "PSP".

Example of a "You're screwed" moments. If this appeared, there's something wrong and
I can never tell you what that is. I have limited jpcsp knowledge.

●  Before you can play, we still have to set the configuration settings. Go to Options > Configuration or just click F12. This is a really complicated part since the settings will differ for everybody since we all have different computers. Despite the game not having high spec demands, jpcsp does. I screenshot my computer specs and the setting I have so you can confirm it for yourself. You have to experiment and I won't be able to answer problems regarding this thing since I don't know much
Soooo sorry for my low-tech pc.

●  Go to File > Load UMD > Click Hakuouki > Run. The game should run fine. The video may lag a bit  (though mine didn't) but don't worry since that's an accepted fact.

Game should work just fine with sound effects and bgm but no voices. If you're fine with that, then it's okay not to do the voice tool.

mono_ATRAC3PLUS_Autoplay_assistant_tool v1.9.28:

If you want to hear the seiyuus' hot voices...

●  Extract the file. You should see an application file there. Seen it? Okay, good.

●  Open this file. Click Start and it should turn into Virtual Desktop. Just minimize that while playing Hakuouki.

OKAY, WE'RE DONE!
It's a tall order but it's worth it. Well, if you hate the hassle, just buy the game or download the ISO file and put it in your psp. For people like me who don't mind a little work for the sake of slightly bigger screen, this is recommended.
